Our Clients Say
Buddy is our first dog and a rescue. When we first came to Mais, Buddy was jumping up at us, biting and nipping as well as showing reactivity to traffic, people and other dogs. After our initial assessment with Mais, we could tell she really connected with Buddy right from the start, so we signed up for the CCBT (Canine Cognitive Behaviour Training) sessions. We thought helping Buddy learn how to regulate his big emotions would result in a calmer and happier dog.
We started with our first session and found we (the humans, not the dog!) struggled with the foundational exercises, but Mais supported us every step of the way and provided lots of constructive and positive feedback to keep us encouraged and on track.
Before long, we started to see a difference in Buddy's behaviour as we built on our understanding of how to communicate with him better. We are nearing the end of our training sessions with Mais, but we see a change in Buddy - he is much more relaxed and we feel more confident communicating with him. He has made a lot of strides and we know none of that would have been possible without Mais’ commitment and her dedication.

We are so grateful for all Mais has done for our family...we know Buddy is on his way to becoming a happy, relaxed and fun dog. To say Mais is "A-mais-ing" would be a small understatement! (sorry, couldn't resist - we love Dad humour).
